Full design project which includes front and back garden. Formerly used as a parking space with gravels for many years, the front garden has been brought back to life with newly designed flower beds and an imposing new hedge.
A newly laid herringbone patterned pathway reveals the multiple shades of colour in this natural stone, particularly noticeable on a wet day. Plantings are diverse and feature seasonal highlights including Hesperantha<\/em>, Sorbus cashmiriana<\/em> and assorted lavenders which are of benefit to both the homeowner and local wildlife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mature trees and shrubs on the perimeter of the back garden, and in neighbouring gardens, provide screening and maturity of growth and compliment the newly planted areas. Colours, textures and forms go together to create an informal style of planting that is both rich and layered, with continuously evolving focal points creating an inspiring  display of pinks, purples and a splash of orange throughout the seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The  structured pond is a central feature which reflect the light and creates the impression of a larger open space. Shaped raised beds  made from Woodblocx provides growing space with ease of access, and a rotating summerhouse recessed into a bed featuring woodland planting provides the ideal dwelling place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
